So, I'm Jim Peckinsrath, and I'm here to annoy you.

It's okay.

We know.

And when I say we, I mean we conquer.

We know how annoying we can be to those of you who are cradle Catholics, life-long Catholics, and here we come with all our enthusiasm for the faith.

The Ten Commandments are basically a summary of the Old Testament.

There is a summary of the New Testament also.

The difference is that it isn't in the New Testament.

It has to be written after the time of the New Testament.

The summary of the New Testament is decreed.

But at the end of the day, there's still an element of mystery here, isn't there?

And part of faith in accepting and even embracing the mystery So faith, then, is this combination of belief and trust.

And so even a little bit of faith In our God, who is worthy of our faith, is better than a lot of faith in anything else.

And I know you know people who search and search and search for things, other things, to put their faith in.

And God who takes away the sins of the world has mercy on us.

But I want you to imagine for a moment a different four letters above Jesus on the cross.

Why do you imagine a crucifix with the four letters RSVP? Because the cross is an invitation to this.

The point right now is that the whole thing begs the question, if that's God's Christmas fish for humanity, where is it he found?

And why do human beings seem so bad at rejecting it?

And I can say that the reason we don't have peace on earth is because we don't have peace of mind.

I believe that peace of mind has to come before we can have peace on earth.

And I believe that peace on earth will come from peace of mind.

So what?

I always like to end with, try to answer the so what question.

I mean you came here, you came to this mission, I'm so grateful that you did, but now what?

What next?

What's going to be different to your life since you were here?
